Granite mine Doubi

Granite mine Doubi is very well hidden in middle of deep woods 7 km from Tynec nad Sazavou. The place was left by miners in 1950th and since than it has been once again absorbed by the nature. It is a place with some extreme rock-climbing pitches. You will not find better place in the Czech Republic to train for The Nose in the Yosemites. :) 

Even when you are not interested in rock-climbing, we visit this place during mountain biking as it is a truly magical piece of nature. Tramps have their bonfire place here with a little hut. To get here you need to climb some steep uphills. The ones who make it here can write down their name in a book. It is a ideal place to relax and have a snack. When we are lucky we can watch climbers fighting in the extreme routes.
